It snowed on Long Island — a lot! Here in Suffolk County some got up to 33 inches!
Here is a little before and after shot of our back deck.
I'm off today for a snow day! The roads are pretty terrible. I'm staying inside, in my PJs, playing with my little girl — that is until later when I have to get dressed and go have my taxes done.

Yes, it is dog food, in case you are wondering!
I also let her play in our unfinished basement...
She loves it, so I see no harm. I sip tea in my 1970s beach chair and do laundry while she plays in her cruiser car and does laps!

Ha-- I have that exact same beach chair, only in an 80s-tastic yellow and avocado color scheme. No matter- I sit in it with pride! They just don't make 'em like that anymore.
